Portland Monthly: July 2009

I shot this story of the National Clonal Germplasm Repository back in November. They are located in Corvallis, OR where, consequently, my brother and his family live. It was great to shoot there and visit with my family.

I worked with Blake at Unboundary on an annual report cover. We took our 7-8 year old kids and high-tailed it up to Tennessee. On the return, we stopped and picked up some 4th of July fireworks. The vignette on this 16-35 ƒ2.8 lens is pretty heavy at 16mm....

They were totally some kind of air-band roman-candle-bottle-rocket duo.

We celebrated part of our July 4 weekend over at Avondale Estates with some friends.

The kids settled in on the grass and waited for the parade.

Finn had a great time with the big kids.

Iliana had fun with her friends.

She loves her little brother dearly.

I photographed Dr. Barrow over at Emory for the cover of the 'Top Doctors' issue of Atlanta Magazine.

I photographed and taped interviews of some local teachers for a Promethean campaign. They make interactive whiteboards for education. Is that Justin hiding behind the color checker?
