I was brought in today to shoot some players from the Atlanta Thrashers during the taping for the game opener. The game opener is the 60 second film that plays when the lights go down at the arena before the game. It gets the fans pretty hyped up. I shot a bunch of stuff on a green screen to be placed into the film. We also shot some stuff on the ice. The art direction looks really cool this year – constructionist, kind of Soviet revolution propaganda-like.
